Seventh Level are a Progressive rock band just starting out on the long path of experimention, this mini album of eight songs are a path at the begining, and where they are at the moment. A new band that has being writting for just a year they have come a long way with the depth and quality of songs improving since their first demo tracks of six months ago. Three songs stand out for me, 'Don't close your eyes', 'sitting alone' and 'Powers that be' each showing traces of direction and feeling that can be further explored... the other five tracks are a mixture of funkified guitar work with traces of improvisation that is called 'Jam' |
